Botox is the most popular non-surgical aesthetic treatment in the United States. It is a purified neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes the specific muscles that crease the skin when you frown, squint or raise your eyebrows. With those muscles at rest, the lines on top of them soften and new lines are less likely to form.
In experienced hands the goal is not a frozen face. A skilled injector adjusts the dose and placement so you still look like yourself — just less tired, less stressed and more refreshed.
