I am 26 — is it too early to start preventive Botox?

I have no wrinkles at rest but I can see lines when I raise my eyebrows. Everyone on TikTok says to start early.

There is no magic age. What matters is whether you have lines that are starting to stay after your face relaxes. If your lines are only there with movement, small doses can slow them from becoming permanent, and many of my patients in their late 20s do exactly that once or twice a year. If nothing is setting in yet, good sun protection and a retinoid will do more for you than injections.

I would start with your skin: sunscreen daily, a retinoid at night, and treatments like microneedling if you have texture concerns. Then add small amounts of Botox when you actually see a line lingering.
