Be honest with yourself about the swelling: the area under the chin is visibly puffy for three to five days, sometimes longer after the first session, and it can feel firm or numb for a few weeks. That swelling is the treatment working. Most of my patients schedule on a Thursday and are presentable by Monday with a collared shirt. Plan for two to four sessions six weeks apart, and the fat that is destroyed does not come back.
