It is also safe across skin types, which matters if you tan easily. Deeper ice-pick scars usually need resurfacing lasers or subcision, and most people end up with a combination. I photograph in the same light every visit because progress is gradual.

Get your active acne fully under control first. Treating scars while new lesions are still appearing is frustrating and can make pigmentation worse.
