How do I know a provider is properly trained to inject?

There are med spas everywhere in Dallas and the prices are all over the place. What should I actually check?

Ask who is injecting and what their license is, how many years they have been doing it, and how many of the specific treatment you want they perform each month. Ask to see their own before and after photos, not the manufacturer's. Ask what they would do if a complication happened — a trained injector will tell you straight away that they keep hyaluronidase on site for filler emergencies and will explain the signs of a vascular occlusion. Anyone who cannot answer that last question comfortably is not who you want.

And make sure there is a physician involved in the practice who can be reached the same day if something does not feel right.
