Can I fly or exercise after IV therapy or injectables?

I travel every week for work and train most mornings. What do I need to avoid, and for how long?

IV therapy has no real restrictions — many of my patients come in straight from the airport and train the same day. Injectables are different: after Botox, stay upright for four hours and skip hard training that day, and after filler avoid heavy exercise, saunas and long flights for 24 to 48 hours because heat and pressure increase swelling and bruising. If your week is packed, treat on the day before your lightest training day.

One caution on IVs: if you have heart or kidney problems, extra fluid volume is not harmless. Any clinic should review your history and take your vitals before starting.
