Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses a medical device with very fine needles to create thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. The skin responds by producing fresh collagen and elastin, improving texture and firmness over time.
It is safe for most skin tones and is one of the most effective non-laser treatments for acne scarring and enlarged pores. It can be enhanced with PRP, growth factor serums or radiofrequency energy.
After a numbing cream is applied, your provider glides the device across the skin at a depth chosen for your concerns. The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes.
